We understand that you have many questions about how our tests work and what rules apply when you take a Covid-19 test. We have gathered the answers to some of the most common questions below.
You will receive your test answer the same day. We use quick and modern PCR testing technology through Qlife's CE marked EGOO HEALTH SYSTEM. You will receive your test result within 4 hours (or within 1 hour for Express) from the time of sampling. The antigen test is a comfortable and approved nasal swab from Acon. You will receive your test answer within 30 minutes from the time of sampling.
You will receive the travel certificate within 4 hours for Standard PCR, within 1 hour for Express PCR and within 30 minutes for Antigen testing. The travel certificate is sent digitally via e-mail and SMS.
Your test shows that you have coronavirus in your body (SARS-CoV-2). The PCR test measures viral DNA, whether it is an active virus or an inactivated virus, which can be tested positive several days after the infection.
PCR (Polymerase Chain Reaction) is a method to detect viral DNA from viruses such as Corona. PCR tests are the safest and most sensitive tests to identify an ongoing Covid-19 infection. When traveling abroad, many countries require you to present a medical document certifying that you have recently had a PCR test that shows that you do not have coronavirus (SARS-CoV-2) in your body.
The visit does not take more than 5-10 minutes, all we need is a throat swab for PCR or nasal swab for Antigen.
No, you are welcome to book a test regardless of nationality.
You need to have a valid passport or ID. If you are traveling abroad, we recommend that you carefully check how close to your departure the test must be performed.
We use the FlowFlex antigen testing kit from Acon which uses a nasal swab that samples the front part of your nasal cavity. The analysis takes 15-30 minutes and your result will be sent to you within 30 minutes.
For PCR testing we use the CE-marked EGOO Q200 device from Qlife that uses a SARS-CoV-2 capsule with RT-SIBA technology as amplification technique for quick and reliable results. For antigen testing we use the antigen testing kit from Acon, a lateral flow test.
The costs for testing and getting a travel certificate are €75 for PCR Standard (within 4 hrs), €99 for PCR Express (<within 1 hr) and €29 for an antigen test (within 30 minutes). Payment is made at the time of sampling by card at the reception. We do not have the option of cash payment.

Important information
You may not visit our clinics in case of symptoms of Covid-19 or if you have been in contact with someone who has been infected during the last 7 days. Please bring a face mask and ID to our receptions.
